70-80 years In the 1970s and 1980s, Dinamo competed successfully, such famous players as Mikheil Giorgadze, Vladimer Iselidze, and Aleksandre Bitadze played in Dinamo. However, with the departure of Nodar Gvakharia, the composition was unstable, and in the background of the outflow of players, serious successes were not seen until the 80s. In 1985, at the international tournament in May, the Georgian team, represented by Dinamo, took second place after the USSR team, leaving behind Hungary, Yugoslavia, and other world teams.
In 1979, Dinamo won the silver medal at the Spartakiad on behalf of the Georgian national team.
